CC#2

In a recent CNN article about "Obama's Health Care" posted by Leigh Ann Caldwell explaining how Obama Care is improving in the problem-plagued HeathCare, the website will not be "perfect" on November 30, when it is said to have been promised to start running.

The House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrel Issa asked White House Chief Technology Officer Todd Park if the Obamacare website will be running by the end of the month. Park did not answer yes or no. He said the team assembled to fix it, they are working incredibly "hard" to fix it. I highly doubt that. But White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters shortly after that it is "on track" for the site to be working smoothly by the deadline that has not been given.

The website is the primary federal portal between to sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare. Stated have separated web-based systems for consumers to register as well. Since the troubled launch on October 1 when it could not perform basic functions a website should be able to do. Increasing the amount of users able to be on the website at once was initially set at 17,000. Well that just wasn't enough even though the site itself could not run properly they increased the number of people to 25,000 all are able to register with each hour.

Although it has been improved, it still far short of administration's goal of increasing the capacity of users to 50,000 per hour. While capacity numbers have released, Obamacare enrollment figures have not. Park told the committee those were due out shortly. Park is one of several government IT officers who testified at the 1/2 hour oversight hearing. In the first hour, both Park and Henry Chao, deputy chief information officer for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, called the problems with the website "unacceptable."

During Issa's opening statement, he said HeathCare.gov was "not a small mistake." He said it went live and effectively exploded on the launch pad. The president should have known Issa added that they were not ready. They were not close to ready at all. James Lankford demonstrated the website's continuing problems by holding up his iPad and saying he had been trying to use the site for about 90 minutes now. But when he hit the "create account" button, it did not take him to the next screen it just changed colors.

Now for a human not caring about Obama care the website was a stupid idea in general. I hate using the word stupid anywhere but this is my one agreement. If changing a healthcare bill that was already in place for people is what he wanted he is doing good and bad at it. First off he has the bill on hold still and they are just funding Obama money to continue to create this never ending bill and all the money Obama is getting to create this bill could go to people who are homeless or to different countries that actually need it. But what can you do as one person fighting a unbreakable government sitting behind a desk giving them power.

CC 1.2

In a recent new article from ABC News7 "Some school districts quit healthier lunch program" by Carolyn Thompson states, That after one year of the "Federal Lunch Program" some schools are dropping out, complaining that students were not eating and the cafeterias are losing money.

Federal official say they do not have exact numbers but have seen isolated reports of schools cutting issues with the $11 billion National School Lunch Program. Districts that rejected the program say the reimbursement was not enough to offset losses from students who began avoiding the lunch line and bringing food from home, or skipping lunch starving themselves. Now being hungry is not pleasing to be in class with a rumbling stomach and trying to take a test, its distracting and you are thinking of food instead of the current test you are taking, increasing the chances you have at failing.

One Superintendent Gary Lewis, who's district saw a 10 to 12 percent drop in lunch sales translating into $30,000 lost under the program last year. In upstate New York a few districts have quit the program, including the Schenectady-area Burnt hills Ballston Lake system, who's five lunchrooms ended the year in $100,000 in the red.

Near Albany, Voorheesville Superintendent Teresa Thayer Snyder said her district lost $30,000 in the first three months. The program did not even make it through the school year after students repeatedly complained about the small portions and apples and pears went from the tray to the trash untouched. Districts that leave the program are free to develop their own guidelines Voorheesville's chef began serving such as salads topped with flank steak, chicken , crumbled cheese, and pasta.

Now with the Lunch program in place 31 million students participated in the guidelines that took effect last fall under the 2010 Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act. Now 31 million looking at it looks like a big number, but all around the world and counting all the schools, that 31 million is not so big anymore, if the schools were to drop the Lunch Program that number will drop constantly. Will the lunch be healthy? Probably not but it is better to have fed a child then leave them starving all day.

Showing Character

Mr.Crow, the relentless Captain with waving locks of joy, serious about his work leaving imprints on his sword handle from how hard he was gripping it. A True war hero left the mangos skidding away with terror coarsing through their vaines. Not only does Mr.Crow mean buisness, everyone he looks at turns to fire and vanishes like paper in a flame.

CC#4 Japan views America

CNN news report February 18th, Bruce stokes explains how "Japan views America" seeing the world. Prime minister Shinzo Abe travels to Washington this week to meet with Barack Obama, Both leaders are riding a wave of relative popularity at home. Strengthening their hands in dealing with mutual international challenges. Unlike Japan bashing days of the 1980s when fear and resentment poisoned popular opinion on specific issues in both countries is likely to shape with Abe and Obama can and cannot accomplish.

Meanwhile about six in ten Americans today trust Japan, according to a Pew Research poll the only nation they trust more is the United Kingdom, which is trusted by three quarters of Americans. Japanese returns the goodwill 72 percent have a favorable view of the United States one of the top favorable ratings among 21 ratings. Administrations would like to see Japan join the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

To me Japan can be lethal but at this point I feel they can strike at any moment, But knowing we will retaliate if we have no done to late, there should be nothing to really fear on how they view us viewing everyone else starting pointless wars.

Topic Of Choice

The topic i have chosen to do is over "Why do Video Games have such bad repetition? " Well for some background information when buying a game. Who ever is selling you the game and it has a "M" at the bottom left of the case it means Mature and on top of the box it says +17. They have to explain about what all is involved in the game. If you clicked on the hyper linked 17 it shows the case of Mortal Kombat and at the bottom left is says "Rated M, 17+."

Now parents disapprove of video games because it shows there kids violence if they let them play a specific game, even after they are informed it contains violence. I'm strictly sticking to Mortal Kombat during this because it has been the most focused game the government has tried taking off the shelves. It contain Blood, Gore, Cussing, and half naked people it has also been one the most known games due to how long it has been around. When parent catch their kids cussing and pretend fighting like they are ripping someones heart out they have the most messed up look on their face asking themselves why did I left my kid play that game.

Video games are far from a bad influence on kids, the parent that make a huge deal about kids play being to violent shouldn't have much to care for when they get older. If a child is introduced to Mortal Kombat at a early age they might enjoy the entertainment it brings, coming from my point of view because I was one of the kids that grew up with the choice to play this type of game. I have had no problem getting over pretend play ripping someones hear out.

There is no reason to stop kids from playing violent video games unless you are a parent that is completely against it then that is your choice to decide what they play, or are introduced to. Having violent video games don't make kids violent its the people who take the "kids play" to serious.

CC#4 Wrestling might be cut!

CNN post in a recent article about "Wrestling may be cut from the Olympics" due to losing its grip. "The  Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee announced Tuesday that it has recommended dropping the sport from the Summer Games beginning in 2020." Why are they bringing this up? Because Wresting has now fallen into the shortlist of sports with many other sports.
The sports being chosen for 2020 Olympics will be the deciding point if Wrestling will stay, the votes will come in the IOC general session in Argentina in September. Whichever sport is chosen will join the 25 sports the IOC listed Tuesday as core sports for 2020. Wrestling is still included in 2016 Olympics in Roi de Janeiro. Wrestling has been around the Olympics since 1896 only missing the 1900 games in Paris.
I would prefer the Olympics not to discontinue Wrestling, I enjoyed watching people go at it for Five minutes and still being able to hold each other on the ground pushing one another out of the circle like sumo wrestlers. If it does get canceled there is nothing we can really do about it because apparently its not up to the people.

Book Log #1

American Sniper, a story told for one of the most known snipers in the Army. Chris Kyle the sniper that rose above all ranks in the system to distinguished himself as the best. This book setting is set during training, or boot camp for snipers, Kyle explained what it was like to have gone through all of the work and what it took to get to be where he is at. Kyle had spent multiple years studying during and before the camp, needing to know how to determine where to aim if winds are at such and such speeds. Every member has a spotter who basically does all that for them, but he doesn't do it for them, they are given coordinates to hit the target they are aiming for. American Sniper explains what it is also like to be on the front lines where you have many lives counting on you to get your role done and not mess up. Being on the front lines from Kyle's view was worse then what he had predicted it to be, not only was his first mission he was sent on nerve racking due to high priorities he needed to accomplished he has never shot and killed as many Iraq soldiers as he thought he would have needed to. But from what all Kyle had achieved he was sent on multiple missions after the first. Kyle had eventually obtained multiple badges for his hard work he had done. In the long run this book is very interesting to me, I enjoy the Army, anything about guns basically, would I recommend this book? Yes, if you enjoy intense action and some background knowledge on what it takes to do what he does this book will most likely suit your needs.

CC3# Job Avoid job-killing budget cuts

In a recent article by Barbara Boxer "How to avoid job-killing budget cuts" talking about "self-inflicted wounds to our economy." Commons sense ways that you can reduce our deficit and avert the squesters, if this happens it can atleast domesticate programs bringing $1.2 trillion cuts over a 10 year spand. "We should begin by applying the nearly $700 billion in savings from ending the war in Iraq and Afghanistan toward reducing the deficit and avoiding these automatic cuts.

If everyone keeps participating in these self-inflicting wounds on the economy, "all of the cuts would stack on top of the $1.5 trillion in spending cuts that we already approved since President Barack Obama took office." The house of Republicans have said their alternative to avoiding the squester, know as "Plan C" this plan would spare the Pentagon any pain, but slash investments into the middle class, seniors, children and the poor.

The top priority should be strengthening the economy not hurting it so much that no matter what the government does, it doesn't effect the middle class, seniors, and poor. All of economic strengths should produce more jobs opportunities for people so that no one will have to deal with low paying checks, and if they don't take a job offer or just sit in the street begging for money, they are probably to lazy to take care of themself. "Balanced approach of new revenues."

My approach or thought on this is... If this problem goes any farther down then what it is, I probably will not have a job to work at at the age of 30, leaving me with no income, no income means that I cannot buy anything, go places, or eat when ever I want to. I do not want to grow up not having a job or dream that gives money to do anything I would enjoy going places and living another day.

American Dream

The American Dream loved by millions of people who want to make something good out of themselves or America. Things from my point of view seem as if poeple care more for their dream instead of the country dream.
I begin one of the million people to want their American dream to come true, does not have a massive dream that can change the life of everyone. Video game designing has been my dream for many years now. Growing up with video games was the coolest child hood I could ask for, this is why veideo designing is so important to me. To obtain my life long dream, computer classes, art classes and patience. To fully understand what im doing it will take around fives years for the basics. Since technology is constantly getting better you honestly cant be your fullest when in desingning programs.
Infering that this is not an easy dream to take hold of becoming a designer is life changing for me in so many ways. Not only am I achieving me dream I can spread endless joy after producing new products. Designing a game brings in a lot of money, money I can eventually donate to charity, to give to people struggling to make it past the next day. Non the less my dream is big, big to me, big to my family it will take a life long journey to learn all of the machanics.
Other accomplishment thats come with my dream is being able or having the chance to travel around the world. This gives me plenty of opportunitys to go to other schools or buisnesses that might be able to teach me something about designing I may have not known. There are so many things needed to know and remember to be able to achieve my American Dream no its not for the country it is for me.
All of this summed up in a ball is basically a plan on being a Game designer who loves what he does and wants to impact or create something new out of my job that has never been seen or done before.

CC#1 2013 GunCrontrol

Gun Control Laws, Tom Cohen CNN post a response about the new "Gun Control" laws that the president is not trying to push to pass. The massacre at Colorado movie theater brought attention to dormant gun control debate, but neither president Barack Obama or candidate Mitt Romney is pushing for. In July 20th shooting in Aurora, Colorado, by a lone gunman who killed 12 people and the wounded have brought the debate back to the front line, during Obama's run to Colorado to give a speech to all of the victims family members, he avoided any gun control talk when expressing support for Second Amendment rights.
"I also believe that a lot of gun owners would agree that AK-47s belong in the hands of soldiers, not in the hands of criminals," a quote from Obama saying that they belong in war and not in the streets of cities. "Soothing words are nice, but maybe it's time that the two people who want to be president of the United States stand up and tell us what they are going to do about it, because this is obviously a problem across the country," Bloomberg a supporter of the independent people who support gun control. Conservatives had called for action, withe mogul Rupert Murdoch tweeting after last week's shooting that they have to do something about guns.
Gun control does play a big role in today's society reason being all the murders, crimes, and what ever else happens usually it happens because people have the rights to carry guns. I am far against gun control being placed into everyone's lives taking away what they have the right to own, things that should come into place when buying a gun is someones background history, not their whole life story but stuff like if they have had issues, or born with a problem that makes them go insane. To me and my family or how this affects us would not go to easy, we have many of "weapons" that we enjoy shooting at ranges, or just for collection. If I had any saying in if gun control should be enforced I would be on the side were every other gun owner would be saying no to gun control laws.
